New Member - One Failed Grow

Hello forum!
Just thought I would share the story of my first grow with you guys. As a lot of dedicated smokers do, I one day decided to stick one of my bag seeds in a wet paper towel and begin the growing journey. Even though I did hours and hours of research beforehand, my resources didn't allow me to provide the "perfect" conditions for the plant. I stuck the sprout in a small container with regular soil, and placed it under a couple CFLs in the closet. It grew there for about a month under daylight bulbs for 24 hours a day. It seemed to be doing pretty good until one light went out. I felt that the one light I still had would not be sufficient, so I put the plant in a very sunny window until I could buy lights for flowering. Well, very shortly after I discovered that all the work I had put into this plant had gone to waste. As you can see from the picture... this is what he looked like the day I pulled him from the soil. What is your opinion on this month old plant?

Get your light situation worked out
and try again.

Was it a male or hermie, sorry it is kinda hard to see properly.

You grew the plant. Not sure I would call that a "failed" grow. Not your fault it was a male.
