New Member!

Id think about an airpot or a smart pot for your grow too (as well as perlite mentioned above). Lots of people say they dry out too quickly however i think that is better than drowning to death.

Its 100% not needed but with good soil it makes watering almost idiotproof.

Best of luck!

Do u have holes on the bottom of the container??? U want atleast 30% air (perlite/coco) u want an inch of dirt dried before u water ... And humidity is a big factor when growing ..Plants need water live but need oxygen even more... @Grow Harder Trust me your in the right place for help, remember less is more sometimes
Yes there are holes.. But u guys were all right about the oxygen. My soil was very compressed..

Ok a quick update.. Yesterday I gently squeezed the "pot" it's growing in and today she appears to have perked up.. Ill post pics in a sec..

She looks so much better after the decompression of the soil.. Not much to update on besides that. I got the perlite but I don't plan on using it until I transplant into better soil and a much larger pot.. The way she bounced back leads me to believe that the main problem this past week was indeed lack of oxygen to the roots as many of u posted. It was just do to the compression and not actually poor drainage.

Thanks alot! I'm glad I came to the right place for help. I've seen some monster grows here!

Its easy to get excited and start going 100 mph. Lets get this plant growing right before you start dropping your $$$. Or get to some hard reading done and setup proper. This plant will not give you much or any return on investment if that's what you are hoping. Start from scratch with known seeds, an auto or a feminized Northern Lights is great for a beginner.

Also don't post high definition pics of your fingerprints online.
I'd like to get my hands on some seeds but in my area it's hard to come across known strains as far as seeds go and I'm not comfortable ordering online.. As far as the fingerprints I'll definitely keep that in mind. Thanks! Any recommendations on seed sites that deliver to the USA and are safe for the most part?

She's got 6 to 7 nodes but it's such a compact plant that it's hard to tell.. Just wondering if this is normal and maybe a trait of the strain . For me it's a plus since I'm space restricted until I get the tent BUT is this a waste? I started germinating other seeds just in case

Indeed! It seems like she's growing 10x faster.. Just looking at the pictures from yesterday and today nd I can see more growth than normally.. Should she be so compact though? Her nodes are like a quarter inch apart. If that!
I don't see a problem with short node spacing at all, that's exactly how you grow big ass colas! I think she is save able man don't listen to the haters

Not very helpful, plus I disagree :

This post wasn't helpful at all.. After all that's y I'm here, to avoid killing the plant.. Next time add value to ur post. Thanks
Why do I cast pearls before swine?
I guess you didn't read my previous posts. The link I provided is solid.
FYI: most noobs love their plants to death with overwatering and/or overfeeding, so you're halfway there!
Good luck...
Also, "ur" is not a word. :dunce:
