New MG Coco grow

Needed info there. So a person would have to cut this with some straight coco, or potting soil would probably be better, because it would have the micro nutes that are missing in this product. Coco is inert and will supply nothing to the plants growth (nutrients). Thats why I asked if there were micro's in the mix.

If you're still looking for an easy growing method, I use Hempy buckets and Osmocote plus to feed, it's down right boring.

Please tell me about osmocote? I just started with coco hempy...

Wattsaver, I clicked on the humpy world link in your sig. I am very interested in the hempy method. I just can't get my head around the setup. Is it a double pot? How do you change the reservoir? What size pot do you use? Helpe out with an easy set up. What type of nutes do you use?

Here's a quick run down on Hempy's. Hempy is a passive hydro system, with a rez that is small enough to be consumed before it needs any maintenance.

Container - Get a bucket and drill a hole (aprox 7/16") 2 inches up from the bottom, your rez is the bottom 2". Container size anything from a party cup to 3 1/2 gal bucket.

Medium - Damn near anything. That being said perlite is what the concept was built on and it's very effective. Coco my be the best once you get the cal/mag and ph dialed in. With coco the rez should still be filled with perlite, hydroton, or something like that. I even use some soil in all my buckets.

Osmocote - Controlled Release Fertilizer (CRF) http://www.scotts.com/smg/goprod/osmocote-plus-multi-purpose-plant-food/prod140020/ Mix into your medium at about 2 tbsp/gal of medium, I've been even going a little heavier recently.

Water in hydro range 5.5 - 6.5 close to 6.0 seems to be best. Add cal/mag dependent upon your water or medium.

You don't really need anything else.

Blueberry Gum, Getting chopped when ever the PE gets chopped.

Looks like the BB is really starting to foxtail. They both look really good.

foxtailing? is that a good thing or bad thing? I think i see what you're talking about on the main cola right?

Thank you by the way on the complement on my grow. I just went and looked up foxtailing. Some say its good some say its bad. I think I like it. Looks really cool. And it means my girl is about done.

here's where i am. Foxtailing started concerning me a little as i was on my way out of town and the foxtailing started to get a lot more pronounced in both the bluberry and the pineapple. so before i left about a week ago i chopped them both.

Pineapple Express, 18g dry, currently curing. The smoke so far is pretty awesome, as always this is a strain that puts me to sleep so has to be great for insomnia. As is cures it will only get better. The taste is actually sweet and caramelly.

Blueberry Gum, 13g dry, currently curing, smoke so far is absolutley terrific. It comes on pretty fast and is a great head rush. Everything seemed speed up and lasted for a pretty long time. Taste is the best i've had ever. Thats not saying much as i have'nt had a lot of different strains, but by far to this point this is some great tasting weed. I smoked some in a emptied out and restuffed black and mild cigar. Then hit some in my homemade water bong thats when i really got the full taste of this weed and it is amazing.

Still have two more girls growing, my cheese from Dinafem and an auto hobbit. I dropped two bagseeds into hempy cups on the first of April to run a test grow.

My attempt at a scrog. This is an auto hobbit. Suppose to be done in 65 days. That two weeks from now and it is no where near being finished.

This is my Dinafem Cheese. Was planning on giving it two more weeks but my trichs are ambering up fast, so she will get chopped this weekend.

Also have my hempy's going.
