New Need HELP PLEASE!! (ELECTRICAL)

So, I have a 3 car garage at my new place and first thing I thought was grow room! So I did it bought 2x 1000 galaxy select a watt, 12000btu window air, 2 inline fans, 3 wall fans, EVERYTHING I need. I have grown before on smaller level with 1 400 in past, here is my dilemma: The garage is 160 feet away from any power source (I may want to run enough electricity to even expand later since I have the room) but this wire is crazy expensive, sub-panel, things I didn't take into account when setting this thing up (stupid me). I want to know what size wire to run from main box into garage and what size amp sub panel, I have been getting a lot of different answers, I am going to invest a buttload to get this done right and if im going to do it right I want to do it right if that makes sense. Not to mention I don't want to burn the house or garage down Any help would be appreciated.... Any questions you have if needed to help please ask THANKS

12 gauge Romex and a 50 amp breaker (depending on what's available in your existing breaker box)...run the Romex through some PVC pipe...should be able to do the entire job DIY...don't tackle the job while stoned though

That sounds cheaper than what people are telling me 6 gauge 8 gauge stranded and run 2 hot 1 neutral and 1 ground, it is saying on google that 12 gauge will only handle 20 amps and I think I need 20 amps just for the 2 lights alone I understand? I don't want to go too big but I want to have enough for sure, its not a job you want to do twice I gotta run the line 160 feet

If you are going to spend the money do it right. I would not think that it would be that much more money to upgrade to a bigger panel in the garage. I would think it would add value to your house. Keep in mind that in the future someone may want 220v in the garage to run a welder or compressor

I don't own the house, but that's besides the point. what size wire would you put in if you were me? personally I could care less about value of house
