New plants, quick question

Im starting my next plants, when you drop your germinated seeds into the soil taproot first, AFTER all that
What light schedual do you use? At this point do you put it into 18/6. I got a jiffy peat pellots and the little dome.
Last time I just waited till they germed and then i drop them into 18/6 in some soil less mix. They worked but im just wondering if that was right or is there a better way.??!

I like to use 24/0 schedule. I start off with some flouros until there are 2 sets of true leaves then move them under the MH.

I am using 18/6 because i have been told that plants need some darkness time.

they dont but to each their own, I'll swear by 24/0 veg though

I'm doing a 24 hour veg and she's got what i've named "Stupid growth" goin on. She is growing so quickly under 24/ 0 she has growth coming every which way bumping into larger leaves and shit growing about 1/4th an inch a day in height and leaves are going nuts with growth, I'll never go back from 24/ 0
