water hardness doesnt have anything to do with the pH. that would be the "acidity" of ur water. not the hardness. the hardness of your water can effect its acidity but not the other way around. example. my water outta tap is about 430+ ppm and and acidity of about 8.6. outta my awsome, lovely, tastey RO machine my water has a ppm of less than 100, and a ph of about 6.2
