How far away is the light? I have mine almost on top of the canopy no bleaching or heat stress. They're on week 4 now will post harvest when ready

yeah, that's not good imo. I have my 680 at 18" from the canopy and it's still dropping 1200+ from that distance vs the e720 that has to be within 6" and then only in some spots does it reach 1200. The fact that grower's Choice advertises these with "boost" which they even admit does not exist in the e720 tells you what kind of integrity Grower's Choice has.
many updates with the 720s?Did the problem get resolved and if you did exchange the lightshow are they performing now?

I can buy these for 900 dollars at my local grow shop.. they are worth every penny from what I’m told. I have experience with similar led lights and I can vouch they are great for veg and bloom. This is a great unit the e720 because it includes The cables required for one 240 V and has a dimmer knob built onto it where the Gavita you have to buy that stuff separately.

Growers Choice ROI-E720 is hands down the best value Commercial LED light out there that I know of. I have many clients that have used them and attained as much as 3 pounds under 1 light with 2 plants.. Gavita 1700e was top of the line but they don't include the dimmer or power cords you have to buy that on top of the lights which adds up quick not to mention they're more expensive to begin with.

Even though you had the light on at the beginning of the video after cutting them off you have to wait about 5 minutes until it's back to full power
I have 6 of them and they do boost but not with my trolmaster I had to get a growers choice controller. The boost setting is on the light it self. I produce 3+ on each and have run them a couple grows now and am switching from 12 phantom 1000 de to 12 e720s. Picture is end of week 5.
I have never liked led but the side by side convinced me to I went from a 2k + electric bill to 15-1600 a month by switching 6 out.

I just pulled down 2 lbs with 4 plants in 6 gallon autopots of coco/perlite with Botanicare CNS17 base nutrients under 1 GC ROI-E720 light running @ 720 watts with about a 6" distance from canopy as they suggested. As a previous commenter mentioned he's doing I'm doing the same, replacing 1150w Gavita DE HPS with these fixtures. I get them for $800 cash.
When the guy at my grow shop told me that this LED Fixture would get me at least 1 pound even that sounded like bullsh*t, it's not.. These walk all over the HPS and are beautifully built.
Pros: Less Heat, Less supports (stakes/netting/yoyos etc.), Less energy consumption (both from less heat & less actual watts), Less Power Draw (Almost 2 amps less than 1000 W DE HPS @ 720W)..
You legit just can't go wrong.
Another thing I noticed with the LED is I do not need more than a couple stakes to support the plants even with quarter ounce colas hanging off the plants. With HPS plants like to flop over because of the lack of blue spectrum whereas with LED this doesn't happen. I don't even need to use scrog netting with my grows now. Unexpected bonus and something they don't advertise which I think is actually a good selling point. I'm sure it's strain dependent though..

I just bought one these a couple of weeks ago. Fixing to flip to 12/12 in the next couple of days. so far so good. Also got everything in from Greengenes {PLC} and will build that light this week. I'm ready to see which will do the best.
And where is the boost mode switch?? Hahahah
