Ok theres a picture of my freshly built 4x4x7 room
The picture shows a lil different than some new upgrades. Such as,2 T8 4x2 florescence light fixtures.
Other than that. I have a XXXL Magnum 6" reflection with a 600w Hps bulb.

Question 1. What min. size (CFM) fan do I need to cool the 600w Hps?

Im going to run "room">duct>Light>duct>(outside)Fan>Coal filter>out /which is the exhaust. Then a simply direct inline fan 6" up from the drain table.

Question 2. I have a Sentiel co2 gen and was wondering does anyone know if I can use a bbq 20 lbs tank? The lil white stubby ones.

i dont know what your trying to say with all that ""<<>>> stuff. but a typical 6" can fan or eco plus fan should work... unless you have a huge filter...

and yes you can use a reg propane tank. thats what i use. get a few of them though. i have 8.

Good looking out wood. Im from the Bay area just moved down to Long Beach to start my grow. Fremont.

But what I was asking is Will a computer fan cool a 600hps or do I need a 6" vortex? If you look up fans they show the CFM's. I heard at least 200 CFM's will keep my hps cool enough. Talking MINIMUM CFM's.

yep, 6" is usually what the hoods accommodate. I run 2x 400w cooltubes with a 6" ~400cfm centrifugal fan.

you need a centrifugal fan with 300+ cfm rating... in my opinion. dont really have any experience with 600s though. i use a single eco plus 6" fan for mt thousand and it works bomb.

almost positive a CPU fan will not work.
