New Seedlings + Some Questions!

Starting over again with some mids seeds, hopefully they wont get eaten!
I mixed dried horse manure into some soil before planting the seeds this time (after they germinated a liiittle to long, 4-5days) and they are doing good, have been in the pots for 3 days now under direct sunlight. I'm in florida and it dosent take very long for the top of the soil to get bone-dry so Ive been spritzing some water over them just enough to wet the very top layer of the soil a couple times a day, is this bad?

I am planning on re-locating them when they are a bit bigger because I am surrounded by two-story houses that can look into my backyard whenever anyone wants (I am paranoid..) and I understand they get smelly eventually. I already have some spots picked out but once I move them I can only go to them once a week, when would be a good time to transport them or when will they out grow the pots they are in now? How long until someone can see it and be like gee thats a pot plant! lol

Also I know I've asked this question a couple of times on here and im sorry for repeating myself... can someone please name a fertilizer that I can purchase at walmart or homedepot? or am I good with just horse manure? Cuz I have plenty of that! Any help is greatly appreciated

another question! I have read on here about epsom salts somewhere... what is the mixture?

looks like in a few weeks they will be outgrowing their current pots. If Depot or walmart are the only 2 places I would try Eleanors Organic VF-11 plant food from Depot. Make sure when you transplant that you use something that will retain a ton of water because of the conditions there.

Thanks! I would have to plant them directly into the ground but I can water them once a week with nutes and such.

Anyone else want to contribute? How is Eleanors Organic VF-11? And how much is too much as far as mixing in the manure when I move them into the new area.

First off, mixing straight manure in can be extremely hot for a young seedling. I hope you make it. I usually just use plain potting soil for the start.
Just using some Osmocote slow release will be fine. I have used it on garden plants alot.
As for the fert lood for something with higher N for veg, and then something with a higher P or flowering.

and on the watering it is better to give a good soaking less frequent then wetting the top more often.

I didnt know when to put the manure, this is them at 7 days do they look ok?

They look good. Before you transplant them outdoors prepare the hole a couple weeks in advance, a good basic percentage of manure or compost to the rest of the mixure is about 30%. So it could be something like.. 30%compost, 30%topsoil, 30%potting soil, 10-20% percent perlite.
