Hello again. 
My grow a few years back was scrapped after I broke up with a crazy lady. Now I'm back.
I'm waiting on delivery of some skunkberry seeds. They should be here by the end of the month. (just ordered)
In the mean time I need to devise a stealth mother/propagation box. I'll make a thread for my builds in the "Grow Room Design & Setup" section and post links here.
Mom box will be flouros. Likely computer fan exhaust w/ passive intake.
I need to go stealth for this run, but I would like the freedom to grow in a larger space in the future. This has me looking at a digital ballast and air cooled hood. Sometjing like this would allow me to veg the girls out a bit in the bloom room and switch the bulb at flower time. It will also allow me to use a 400 watt bulb now and go with a 600 or 1000watt after stealth is less of an issue.
I doubt I'll have more than 2'x3' to work with for a bloom room, but we'll see how my hunt for cabinets/dressers works out. 3'x4' would be ideal for me. I think I could run 2 plants scrogging with an air cooled 600 watt and pull some good weight each harvest.
My seeds will not be feminized. I am getting a 10 pack, so I will pop 5 and save 5. If I get a keeper or two I will store the other 5 and order a new strain, otherwise I will pop the other 5. I am determined to have at least one killer mother.
I plan to start my seeds in little seedling trays for actual trees. I will use vermiculite as my seedling and cloning media for now. The seedlings will go straight from there into 6" plant pots. Clones (3 each) will be taken from the moms/dads and flowered, males killed, females fim'd and lst'd. No scrogging the first run.
I know soil, but it's a PIA (for me) indoors. I like mothers in soil for some reason, though. I'm thinking coco might be the way to go for now. (quiet, more forgiving than most hydro, has many of the benefits of hydro)
