New Soil Mixture

Thanks to your guys help, I've started using black gold soil. After some further research, I bought the BG potting soil, BG garden compost and a bag of perlite. I'm using the following ratio: 3 parts potting soil, 1 part compost and under 1/2 part of perlite. Think I should adjust any of the parts or does this sound about right?

Good choice on the Black Gold, however make sure you use the Lilly Label stuff ( Orange Lilly on the front ) It has the highest percentage of worm castings in it. Thats what I used to use. That stuff if so so good and black.

Well, not really sure. It looks kinda orange. Maybe red. They sell worm castings at the place where I bought the dirt. Should I just pick up a bag of that, too? I hate spending more than 12 bucks on a shirt, but I'll drop 20 on worm castings. Sick, sick man. . .

If it has a picture or a Orange Lilly on it than that would be it. I think you are using the Red Label with a Rose on it. Lilly Label is better, higher percentage or worm castings, and peat moss.

kinda funny i spent 15 bucks on half a yard of organic soil today at the forest products store . Is your grow just now starting ? maybe we can share pics . i just planted beans today .

Thanks Zildjian. I'm a bit color blind, so I couldn't tell if it was red or orange. Also, my penis keeps me from being able to tell apart a Rose and a Lilly, but with your examples, I can see the difference:shock: Hey Chasta, good luck on your grow. POST PICS! I just put a Kandy Kush and an ATF female in flower, but I have a constant rotation going so it's always starting and ending:) Big bitches, though. I had a cloning brain fart and had to keep them in veg longer than I wanted, so they are BBW right now. Had to tie down the branches on both. Looks like a SAW movie in there. But, this is my first grow with the new soil. Fingers crossed! Also, been reading about monster cropping, and think I'll give that a go. Also will keep everyone up to date on that. Happy new years, brothers and sisters!

I bet your Penis gets pretty lonely, and dry, having never bought flowers for a women. See I buy them every now and than, and my Penis gets wet almost every night. :)

LOL. Well, luckily my wife doesn't like flowers, or jewelry. She just needs a new car every few years. Hmmm, maybe I should learn more about flowers;)
