new soilless grower. what ppm for clones and seedlings

Growing hempy style in perlite. GH maxi nutes. The recommended 1 tsp per gallon of maxigrow brought my solution to 860 ppm. Im assuming this is wayy to high. Where do I want to be?

5-800 would be fine find in coco don’t see a difference for perlite

I wouldn’t feed a seedling 1.6 Ec (860ppm @ 0.5) with my genetics or environment. I feed seedlings starting at 0.4 EC on top of water EC when they go into grow medium from jiffy puck. so, 200ppm @0.5 on top of tap after they get transplant.

Second week I bump to 0.6-0.8 EC and then 0.8-1.2, then 1.2-1.8 EC into flip to flower. After than I keep ramping until I see I shouldn’t.

I am also real conservative in my feedings, and fertigate real frequently.

Clones can take higher EC from the start once they have the roots for it, imo.
