New tent

Hi guys

I had a couple starter seedlings in the front window and they did great from scratch. I bought a grow tent with an 800w LED and decided to put them in there and see what happens .I have the rh at 70-80 and the fans blowing, temp is 24-25 celcius, i exhaust once a day for 10 min and let new air in. They seem droopy but still growing good. I have the light all the way up and I know its not the best for little guys and clones but its all I have. Any ideas other then putting them back in the window which I dont want to do cause now I have 8 white widow clones in there as well.

The humidity is causing the droop. Don’t overwater and keep going. Just keep air moving and keep going. Consider exhausting 24/7 depending on temperature and/or humidity. Especially during flower. What’s in those big buckets?

I second the humidity being the issue. i've had that issue with my bigger plants when they get bushy and humidity builds up the inner growth gets droopy and soft. 70-80% RH is fairly high if your only exhausting for 10 minutes a day. i exhaust 24/7. I suggest exhausting 24/7 ASAP and as stated continue with the grow they should bounce back. if you have water in those buckets get it out. water will raise the RH people use that to raise it in there temps if i am not mistaken if they can't afford a humidifier. same with misting i believe.

you run Salt water tanks btw? let me see your tank XD i run a SW tank but mine ugly af but i enjoy seeing others in the same hobby

You could also setup a timer for the exhaust and have it run for 30 mins a few times a day at least if you don't feel the need for the 24/7 just yet, but as they grow larger the need for more adequate air supply will multiply itself many times as the days go onwards.

You can also run your lights at night to help with heat issues

I was under the impression that seedlings and clones need to be between 70-80 RH. The buckets I put in there to raise the humidity cause the house sits at about 55. I am currently using ph balanced tap water, another reason for water in pails, day or two sitting and the chlorine dissipates. If I run the exhaust fan 24:7 the humidity drops to much. So I will put it on a timer for a few times a day. Thanks for that

On that note my outdoor girls are doing great

Right now until they start growing a bit more I have lights on 24/7

I have lights on 24/7 until they get a bit bigger and develop a bit more

80% is too high imo i dont run clones just seeds and my humidty as stated runs higher end throughout. How much is the humidity with the exhauste 24/7 and try removing 1 bucket see how much it lowers

When exhaust is running on min rh goes to 55 or so. I will remove one bucket or put it on a timer

sorry was going to elaborate but was at work and using my phone. like i said i don't grow from clones or have experience from clones but IMO i think the concept of high humidity for clones is due to the fact they have little to not roots. you look at how clones are produced which are just cuttings and rooting hormones. exact same way as tomatoes really if i recall the 2 plants are very identical. when you don't have much roots which typically take up the water/nutrients via the soil or if running DWC then just straight water. If i am not mistaken high RH causes the little tiny holes in the leaves to open up and take in moisture via the air ( i could be wrong ) thus why they run high humidity. your plants look like they should have well established roots to not be running that high of a RH.

I am not sure if it was the high Humidity or high temps but one of the 2 causes the pores to open up and take in moisture that way if i am correct. https://www.growweedeasy.com/humidity i google search it and the quick search said it was the high humidity and led to that link.

what i actually used to do was i make like im transplanting the babies in my solo cups and turn um upside down to see where the root system is at. they will surprise you how fast that shit grows tbh. idk if i would recommend doing that especially with your lights on cause it can damage your roots but i did it in my room lights off in the day time

Outdoor ones yes. Inside ones we will have to wait and see. I am decreasing the humidity to around 70. Removed a bucket last night and rh sits around 77. I want to find the sweet spot where I could run the exhaust 24/7. Might invest in a humidifier this week.

I’m ordering newts this week as well decided to go with maxigrow and maxi bloom with a couple of GH supplements as well.
