I have 4 autoflowering lowryders. They are just starting to sprout, when should I turn on the HPS light? Since they autoflowering ones skip the flowering stage when should I hookup the HPS. Damn I am confused now.Cfl's are good for vegging and cheaper, but you can use the HPS for all if you must.
Thanks Magikal, I am not frustrated just not knowing from right to wrong. I guess there is no wrong. I am not going to get the HPS for like 10 days anyways. Thanks for the advice.Personally i would say keep those cfl's on their for a couple of weeks then put that bad boy up for flowering. But dude it's up to you. However you want to do it. This is for fun don't get frustrated.
The more light the faster they will grow. Only use DAYLIGHT bulbs for vegging.Ok here is a update. I have replaced the two desklamp bulbs with 42W which has 2600 lumens. Also one of the lowryders I think died or stop growing. So only have three in the aerogarden now. I also replaced the water in the aerogarden. No nutes at all but just adjusted the PH around 5-6.
Ok here is a update regarding lowryders. 3 are left out of 4. Today is day 8 since the sprout of the lowryders. I been looking around and I see other peoples lowryders on day 8 are much larger. So I was thinking about nutes and a member posted this helpful link in this thread about when I should start the nutes.

My question is according to this chart it starts from week 1. So should I start the nutes? I have the Grow BIG and BIG BLOOM. They are the 1st and 3rd nutes under Liquid/Concentrate. Should I follow these nutes instructions? Keep in mind I have lowryder AK. All I have done for now is just maintain the PH level. Please advise.

I might want to keep that Ph well under 6 (5.2-5.8 for AG). You don't want to kill your grow by getting root rot. That's a major problem with a small tanks like the AG sports.
Thanks I appreciate it.Don't use nutes first 2 weeks. Then go 1/2 to make sure no burn.
