Is $3000 for one lbs of good quality cannabis a fair wholesale price? What is typical?


Just trying to do some hypothetical math...
The things I hear just don't add up.

thats 6.66 a gram, compare that to how much you normaly would pay for a gram and then decide. prices are different everywhere obviously but aroudn where i live on that much weed you be looking at around 5-7 a gram

A gram of good weed goes for $15-20 around here and most places I've been.

I would say; if you don't know the answer to your own question then you are probably in over your head.

New to buying and your already buying pounds?

yeah thats what i mean is price per gram when buyign by pound. its about 10$ a gram here if buying singles

This statement is ridiculous.

3000 dollars for a pound is pretty expensive, it better be high end... Coming from Canada
But then again I havnt bought in awhile and they have jumped the prices in the last couple years

bought as in havnt bought half ounces in awhile, I never bought big mac amounts. I just know dealers by quarter lb of high end stuff for 750. You think you would get a little better deal buying a whole pound

Bruhski, I think 3gs for 453.59237gs is kinda expensive I would go no longer than 2.5gs on that if I engaged in those kind of activities.

If you are anywhere other then CA, WA, OR, NV, CO a price for a pound to almost anyone is between 3-4k. There are variables but all of the mid-west, south and east are at the following price averages:
gram-15-25
eighth-50-100
quarter-65-150
oz-250-400
qp-800-1,200
hp-1,500-2,300
lb-2,800-4,400

ive seen dispensaries BUY a pound for 4k of good shit. 3k isnt that rediculous...my buddy buys them for 3k-3500

getting a lb on the low is $2,000ish. The high side is $4,000. At 4 grand you best be prepared to sell that shit out by the gram or beat whoevers ass sold it to you for 4 grand.

Street prices are not quite that low in CO. Try again. Unless you are buying low-mid quality. You'll never see hq 2k a lb in CO even with legalization, even over time it will only be taxed and regulated more. Once you learn about supply/demand and how the rules work in CO maybe you'll make a better guess next time.

i know where i am in northeast you are gonna pay 10g for mids and 15g for hi quality. that is if you are buying any weight.
if buying hi's a gram at a time gonna be around $20 a gram. so if buying pound i would say between 2-4000 here is not unheard of.

Since they closed the dispensaries here, weed has shot the fuck up. Was spending 45-50 a quarter 2 weeks ago. Yesterday it was 75 for the same stuff... It depends on where you live. But i find it hard to believe you are truly looking into buying a pound if your truly buying for the first time. Also if you really are buying that much at once, hope you have a gun for protection or you really no the supplier. People are shady everywhere in the world......

Probably should have named your post. Selling for the first time. Get as much as you can for per pound. I sold a pound and a half about a year ago. Sold it by the ounce for 300. It was good shit though. got 4800 a pound and thats in Michigan. Good luck
