You seem very certain. Did you have a bad experience?
More than one thread here with good ones
Speaking from personal experience yes also know plenty others that wouldn’t even accept free Barney farm beans. Garbage might not be the best way to put it you can get some decent nugs from those seeds but chances of finding some fire are slim imho

Cheese and laughing buddha. But I agree with @evergreengardener BF is just as he put it. Yes you may find a decent plant. 1 or 2 maybe worth running again out of all of those. Their G13 isnt G13 or even related to it. Tangerine dream watch for hermies. Bc it throw the shit outta nanners mid flower. I wouldnt even waste the time and lighting on them. But I will say this, their peyote critical would be your best chance at a decent plant. It wont be strong but should yield pretty good. They use dinafems critical + as the female reversed. It has some huge plants in it. I had a really nice yielding critical + I run for about 18 months. Was pretty decent daytime smoke. Not real strong. But just had this amazing taste to it. Like legit juicy fruit.

Run in 5gal smart pot, soil. Yielded just over if I remember correctly just a hair over 8 zips. 230g dry. Finished in 65 days. She was a monster.

I mean dont get me wrong. Barneys used to be up there. But as the weed game changed. So did they. It went from using elite top class genetics. To using whatever to keep selling beans. And making that dollar. They lost the love for the plant. And has more love for money. So there gear went south. But new people coming into this, Barneys Farm use to be a name to have your garden. And new people dont know, that's not the case now. I have several packs of Barneys. As well as most people who have any type of seed of collection.

I would stay away from the longer flowering strains if i were you. Less chance of something going wrong in 8 weeks than 11 or 12! I grew a cheese on my 1st grow and highly recommend it. For a 1st timer. Very skunky so hope you have a carbon filter!? Was blown away by how much it actually smelt like matured cheese!! Go figure lol.

I did read that laughing budda was a difficult strain to grow so I might leave that one until I've done a couple of grows. I've got a filter which goes up in to my attic, it smells up in there already and I've not got any buds yet!

And have grown some g13 pineapple express. Was amazed at the quality/yield (10 oz off one of the plants!!) So bought a 5 pack about a year ago and only 1 sprouted (did nothing different in the germination process) and the 1 that did was a tiny spindly thing that I just chopped 3 weeks into veg. Was rubbish. Have grown haze (Not from g13). Long flowering time off memory not too hard to grow. (But longer flowering time equals more time for mistakes) But that haze smell is amazing in my opinion. Nothing like it!

I had the same issue. Found it to be my cheap thin ducting i was using. Had like little pin holes throughout it. I now use the ducting with the fiberglass stuff in the middle and ensure you have the vent line into ceiling fully sealed at roof!

It's literally just in to the attic not through the roof, I put the end going into the air space in the top of the water tank as people say that stops moisture getting in to my beams, I will try and get it outside for sure, its acoustic ducting with all that cloth stuff inside, the grow tent in in my room so I tried to make it as quiet as possible, should have bought a silent fan really but I got mine given to me

Ohhh ok. Umm you are drawing the air through a carbon filter arent you? That's what captures/eliminates the odour. If you are then did you get given the carbon filter? It may need to be replaced As they get less efficient at removing odour as time goes on.

It's a new filter, I will take some pics when my gf wakes up (UK time zone)

Extraction setup looks fine to me..... I'm sure you've checked where the ducting connects to fan and filter? They need to be tight so you don't pull in tent air after carbon filter if that makes sense?
