You should be following a regimin that your nutrient manufacturer supplied or has avalible. use the seedling strength.

i start 1/4 strength nutes around day 11. some folks wait till they have 3 alternating internodes. by day 11 i usually always have 3 alt. inter.

DO NOT follow the manufacturers quantities with DWC! Please don't take this as me being a jerk. Because I mean no offense. But unless the mfg. has DWC specific instructions (I've never seen this) then go for 1/4 strength of the recommended nutes and go to 1/3 as they get bigger (initially 200-300 ppm and towards the very end depending on the strain around 1000). If you want to play it safe, stay under 700. Always work your way up as the plant grows and make slow incremental additions. DWC rocks, but I firmly believe is the fastest way to toast the living shit out of your plants if you run the nutes too hot. Again, no offense. Just my experience.

I need to learn one way or another i'm just trying to get as many opinions on the matter so I don't learn the hard way.

nute co's are notorious for recommending higher than needed nute strengths. they want you to use it up and buy more, lol.

use 1/4 strength after two weeks. i followed the bottle on mine and the ppm was 1500 almost so don't follow the bottle. scale it down to quarter strength and work your up to stronger.

You start feeding seedlings nutes when you have the 3rd to 4th set of true leaves appear, or if your leaves start to turn yellow before that happens you should start to feed nutes.

Thank you everyone for the input.. I went ahead and added some nutes yesterday only about 1/8 strength just trying to play it safe just for now and I can already see improvements in both plants. If there were in ill side affects from adding the nutes would it be showing already or take some more time?

seedling strength is ussualy 1/4 strength the full on but w/e everyones opinion is different. you will notices fairly quickly if you added to many nutrients if you feel like its to much just drain as add new water with even less. also make sure to keep your water levels up or your ppm will creep up on ya.

yea those r bigg enough for 1/4 the recomended veg. just make sure u leave about an inch of space between the bottom of the net pot and the water level or the roots wont grow
