New to inddor growing......Questions?

First post yay! new to indoor growing and wanted to know a few things i have a pretty big walk in closet that ive cleared out and am going to use as my grow room i dont have its dimensions yet but i figured a 150 watt HPS would work alright I dont know...? im planning on having one mom plant n take clones from her, im putting sum autoflowers in their just so i can have sumthing to smok in a short time. questions wat am looking at ventilation wise can a couple fans be sufficant? do i need a carbon filter to keep odor down? mylar how important is that? and watering systems im looking towards DWC it seems simple to use so any info u can share wit me about all of this would be greatly appreciated.

150 watt is too small I think. In a walk in closet you can prob use a min of 400 watt. I have 2 150 watt HPS for my grow box & its 2X4X4. The smell is dependent on the strain your growing grew bubbalicious last time & could not for the life of me control the smell. Mylar IMO is over rated. Paint the inside of the closet flat white & its fine.

As to the Hydro DWC you got me there.. Im a soils guy.

you can get them for $150ish dollars. You can simply buy another 150 watter for what $75? What what I got mine for at the big box store..

Put 2 in & when you can afford it get a third. I think that works better than 1 large on because you can spread the light out. I'm sure other's may disagree
