Ok, I am going to start my first indoor grow and I have plenty of questions.

I want a 3x3 grow tent and I am having trouble picking a light and understanding the PPFD maps and what is a good number? And can you have too much? Is it best to get a dimmable light? I have these picked out

ViparSpectra KS2500 250W

Mars Hydro TSW 2000

Mars Hydro FC-E3000

How many plants can you grow in a 3x3 tent?

How do i chose an air filter?

Whats the best temperature to keep a grow tent?

Should I maintain a certain humidity level inside the tent?

Is there any other helpful tips and information I should know?

Any advice and help is greatly greatly appreciated thank everyone so much.

Get the biggest light that will fit in your tent and that you can swing a deal on. Check the literature for how much power it uses. Get the biggest size and the one that draws the most juice. 2 plants would be my limit in a tent that size but there’s more ways than one to fill it including Sea Of Green. SOG.

Why do so many people start new threads on the same subject. So many on RIU that are exactly the same, I honestly wonder if the people are for real or if its the companies just trying to get their shit in the "what's new list" If this is legit please just do some homework, lights, tents, fans, humid, dehumid all come with spec sheets. As far as how many plants you can grow in a given space comes down to how many you want to grow and what size plant you wish to try to grow. Good luck and happy thread reading.

Fc-e 3000 definitely. Other than that you’ll have to do some homework… if we tell you how to grow you’ll never learn. 9 plants in 1-3 gal pots but will be tight. Filter and fan should match your growspace. 3x3 4” fan and filter. Temp and humidity ballparks… veg- 72-78f with 60-65%. Flower- 65-72f with 50%h. Low stress training is your friend, never let plant pot go completely dry, prune bottom 1/3 of plant for flowering. Defoliate for airflow and open covered budsites… do research? Learn and read. Lots of info here and on the net. Most will not agree completely but all will about the basics. It’s an easy plant to grow.

Unless space is an issue, I'd get a 4x4 instead of a 3x3. It's just a better, more realistic space to work with. 4x4 never feels large enough either, but it's what I use.
Outdoor organic is my jam too.
I wouldn't fuss too much about indoor environment. Indoor is a breeze like that and more forgiving. So long as it's close to optimal. (less disease, less bugs, less stress)

VPD charts have been useful information for me, definitely. Though I just stick to somewhere in the middle of what's considered optimal vpd and it works for me.
I have Veg thermostat set @25'C and 60-70% humidity constant.
I have Flower thermostat set @24'C and 60% humidity constant. Running hps ticks the temps up to 27-28'C during lights on.

Biggest concerns I'd say, is you'll need a way of tackling humidity spikes during late flower. Such as after your lights turn off.
Ample ventilation + air exchange - speed controller.
I also use a cheap small space dehumidifier, that's surprisingly effective.

And just watch the temps. They slow right down if it's too cool. Wouldn't really let night temps get below 20'C or so. And lights on 25-30'C.

Good luck. All the best.

We all enjoy helping, you tend to get the smarter answers from folks when you are looking for all the answers to be just handed to you. You should strive to know why, not just what.

1 plant, maybe 2 medium ones

Based on cubic feet per minute vs the cf of your tent

84ish...

Yes

I'll post a link to a video 4 ya

You should think about how much you are willing to spend, it can add up.

Mars isn't known for great cust. service, you might consider buying from a domestic company for good support and warranty. 30-40 watts/square foot is common with LED. I'd want a dimmer and too much rather than too little. I may post some ideas for lights later.

Bigger is better with fans and filters. Big fan run slow for lower noise. Many fans are variable speed with temperature/humidity controls. AC Infinity is popular and has great controls. Inkbird is popular for temp/humidity and other controls. Do a search here for discussion of filter brands.

Search VPD for info on humidity. Many will start around 65% and be under 50% at the end, you don't want bud rot. Low to mid 80's temp is good, 27-29C.

Be sure to have one or more small fans for air circulation in the tent. Get a tall tent!

look into s.o.g. and scrog...the two best options for a small tent.
sea of green is multiple small plants that grow quickly and get flipped fast, scrog is screen of green, where you thread one plant through a net to expose as much as possible to the light, or possibly two plants in a 3 by 3, depends on how bushy they get, one big plant could fill a 3x3 pretty easily.
