Im brand new to this forum but i dont understand why people post questions that are already answered a million times over if you just look around or search. do some reading before asking for help, if you cant find what your looking for then ask. Find a good grow guide and start taking as much info on growing as you can. just make sure its from a credible source, there's a lot of myths about marijuana growing out there and it can be hard to "weed" to through the bullshit.

you can flower anytime you want, but if you want to do it naturally without having to force flower, the plant will be triggered sometime next month. from there it just depends upon the strain as to how long it will be in flower. some take 7-8 weeks, others 3 months. flowering nutrients are a must in my opinion to optimize the flowers. a popular flowering nutrient that is hard to fuck up is fox farms, so you might want to look up their nutrient line. best of luck.

your not new to outdoor growing your just new at growing period! Outdoor is very simple put it in soil water it when soil is almost not moist. Over watering kills under watering kills after about 2/3 months the potting soil will no longer have nutes in it and you'll have to supplement it with nutes. Get some high end nutes read the label and follow the label. once your at this stage you will want to feed (nutes) them once then water (no nutes) for three or four times then feed them again then water 3/4 times then feed etc. also with you being outdoors you will want to do some bug control. Get sticky pads and place them by your plants, get tenacious earth and make a barrier around them with it. Get some neem oil, spray it on them. I could go on but I think I gave you enough info to keep you busy and safe for a bit.

haha thanks man. well the soil i bought says feeds for "9" months. and i had already gone ahead and got some feed for it for later....just got everything in one shot.id rather not have to feed my plant anything... so i hope the soil will feed the whole time.

experience is the only way to fully understand something. good luck with what is most likely your first grow, and i like to hear that you're doing it outside. real medicine is made by the sun.

You want to unlock the genetics of the plant go organic, you may not grow as big as with some chems, the smoke will taste better and you will save a ton of money for what you can get from free to very cheap. Yeah it takes some work to do it naturally, time well spent and you will have a better understanding how the plants respond to their nutes. Been growing 41 years and learn new things every day here and year crop I grow. :leaf:

well to be completely honest with you. i really dont want i to be that huge in the first place. its really just for myself and to sell to my friends. i live in an apartment complex as it is and having to be discrete on this tiny thing you call a deck is pretty close to impossible...but im going for gold anyway...so what do you mean by organics exactly.....if it has anything to do with inside count me out.

but there is something im curious about. i have read quite a few different things over the internet about watering the plants. i read that not to water it until the soil gets crust dry, until it looks just about dry and to spray it one its out of its seedling stage. i have up to this point watered it very little do to the amounts of rain here. its about 2 weeks old now i think and ive just been spraying it with ONLY water. i dont know if i need to be watering it to dampen the soil or just be spraying the leaves a couple times a day. anyone with info on this let me know. tommorow im sure is two weeks and i will be taking pics and putting them into my journal for any advice.

There is a good question and I am sure everyone has an opinion on this one. Personally, I water more from the bottom, meaning I have a small dish under my container to hold my water and nutes and let the soil absorb it up, it will be like a sponge soaking up the water. The top of the soil will be wet when it is finished drinking and throughly soaked. The next part depends on many factors as to how long it takes to dry out, temp, amount of sun it receives. I never never let them dry out completely usually every couple of days they get a good drink and I fertilize every week, at two weeks old you want to start very slowly with the nutes maybe a quarter strength, the baby is very tender now and will burn easily.
I response to the organics, I am totally outside grower, but being in an apartment does not preclude you from being organic, this just means no chems, buy an organic fertilizer, they tend to cost a fraction more but you will be happier in the long run and so will your plants, no excessive flushing needed no chems in your body as well. Hope this helps, happy to help anyway possible.....good luck on your grow.:weed:

well thats a good idea with the dish but my flower pot is just one solid piece i believe. im about to post new pics soon. but about your nutes idea. i dont think that is to smart for me bein gi bought organic soil that feeds "up to 9 months" so i dont know if i should be giving it anything at this point ya know. i did although read about it and i went ahead and bought some just incase. they are miracle grow singles. it says they are guaranteed not to burn is used as directed which says every 7 - 14 days which from reading sounds right to me. but as you can tell my dilema is should i be using it being i have soil that feeds up to 9 months....?

Don't worry so much for the soil fert. Its only like a 2-2-2 fert. You can boost your feeding by diluting the nute solution as forementioned. 1/4 recommended dosage at seedling. I feel that you may start feeding now. But, before you do, I encourage you to find a better fert than MG in my opinion. I've been using Fox Farm's Grow Big, Tiger Bloom and "SuperThrive" as a feeding schedule and I've seen amazing results so far. Do yourself a favor and go online to www.thebigtomato.com and pick up some Fox Farm's nutes. Make sure to get the stuff for soil grow medium and not hydroponic.
