Well guys it's confirmed!!! 2 of my girls are for sure females!!!! They started throwing white pistils and they went under the hps today!!! I'm excited to see how these do! Tell me what your thoughts are about flowering nutes. Afghan hasn't showed any preflowers yet but she is getting fat!!!

My tent is small and there isn't enough room on both sides to vent in and out so what do you guys think of putting a vent on one end and using that as an exhaust and having flexible ducting on the opposite end with an inline fan sucking air from outside???

Good to hear you've got a couple girls. I don't know much about ventilation Im waiting for a fan right now but Ill have to start sucking air out at some point.

Ya bro....I'm happy. I'm just hoping that my 3rd one stays female. She is showing all the signs of female though short and stocking with short node gapping.

I was just wondering what your guys views were on some of the higher wattage cfls. I was thinking of maybe keeping my 5000's and using a few of them in with a higher wattage 2700k cfl. Here is what I am talking about. I am just curious if I got like say 4 of these http://www.1000bulbs.com/product/2737/FC55-E2627OD.html and did 2 of my 5000's do you think that would work for flowering?
You lose Lumen per Watt efficiency the higher you go passed 42w when using CFLs.......I think 23w or 26w are the most efficient. And they are cheaper.

Yea that's what I've heard after I did a little research myself but its all ok now because I've got a new tent and hps light so I'm not to worried about flowering anymore. But I am still am using cfl's for veg just for the fact I want to have a perpetual grow and don't have 2 tents.

On a side note with cfls I can get the nodes super right so I guess it's a win win for me :)
