New to RIU with a CFL question

Hi, I am new here and about to build my first grow box.

For lights I hope you use 6 maybe 8 42 w flouros.

I am looking at buying a bathroom light fixture

and I am wondering if I can SAFELY put 3 y splitters with 42 w flouros in each splitter. The add says that the fixture takes only 3 g 25 max 60 w.

Need some help cause I want to get started ASAP and this is step 1.

those light fixtures will melt. those are for those clear low watt bulbs. you'd be better off building your own fixture with proper ballasts imo. good luck!!!

i have a bathroom 3 bulb vanity fixture from walmart says the same thing 60w and im running 6x 26w bulbs on each of them with no problem.... im no electric master but i assumed it ment 60w bulbs not 60 watts total. mines been running for almost 2 months now no issues. but i would of rather wired up my own custom fixture to fit the bulbs to my area better i dont like the vanity fixture
