Hi guys. I'm new to RIU but love the look of the site. Lots v good info and some gear journals. I've currently got 1 sweet zombie in flower on day 48. Look g at what I've found on the Web there 49~56 days! Not a chance this is going to be ready for at least another 3 weeks going of my past experience. Now I did veg for almost 3 months and was considering that may be a factor? But going against that idea as when I flipped her the pre flowers were through within days... She started quick.. Has anyone any experience with sweet zombie.? I'm not sure when to put her into flush?

What do you mean by myth! I've always flushed my plants at the end It's a no brainer! Otherwise crackling n harsh bud is all your left with? It's thee most important part of the cycle?

Learn some botany & how nutrients are transferred in the plant - It's physically impossible for it to work.
Do you also boil the roots to drive the THC into thee buds?

My favorite is from when I was a teenager. Gotta hang those drying plants upsidedown so the thc drains into the buds!

I remember using boiling hot sugar water to dunk the roots into before hanging the plant upside down.
Same as I've always left for 48 hours in the dark before harvest! Seem to get a hell of a lot more crystal and the smell enhances
Ha ha love this reply.. Pll always say oh be carefull oooo don't cut that of you will stress the plant.. In my experience stressed plants can be more potent in the end

I got a foo fighter that struggled. My gf told me to keep it when I wanted to dump it. She's not the top producer but she's gonna look damn sexy bagged up when they're done. She smells nice and fruity too.

It is impossible to remove anything from a plant by flush, leach or any type of over watering.
From the soil, yes.
When you starve a plant, your attempting to lower the nutrient levels in the BUDS, right?
FAIL!
As the plant begins to "starve". It will take nutrients from other locations IN that plant and MOVE them right to the buds (where your trying to lower that from). In a last ditch effort to reproduce.
This in turn actually begins to stress the plant and therefor make any kind of "herming" easier to happen!

I think somebody wrote a book and everybody jumped on it for a while like it was etched in stone.
I remember a YT video years ago showing some lady cutting her plants and sticking it in a vase to suck up water and called that flushing too.
I'd call it hydrating for no good reason but what do I know?

I think Jorge talked about it in his Bible. That was the book that got me started and I used to flush. I don't anymore and I grow in Coco. A little runoff to wash out some salt and you're good. As for that final flush blah blah blah just start to taper off the nutes 3 weeks before harvest and plain water the last week. No need to run copius amounts of water thru your medium.

Nope. Never flushed and have smooth weed after a 3-4 week cure.
