Hello and thank you for taking the time to read this thread. I'm in the eastern part of the United States, and looking at doing a backyard grow. I have a good spot to grow on. I plan on digging a small hole.. and fencing it in, using good soil and polymers. I also plan on mulching around the beds to keep moisture from evaporating. I plan on gettin a bit of seeds and spacing them a few inches apart in a 4x4 set up. I've read articles about puttin a roof over the fence at times (when?).. After reading what I wrote, are there any tips anyone has on how I can assure a yield? :bigjoint::eyesmoke:

4 x 4 is a small area, you might want a plant a 10 or less and thin males, good only for seedy weed. Some growers say
4 x 4 per plant, the yield is greater, with larger plants. You might get the same yield in the 4 x 4 area from 1, 2, 4, or 8 plants. Because the more plants you have the lower the per plant yield will be. So I would not try to grow more then 4 females
Its good you started asking early in the season, take my idea, as an opinion. Gather ideas to for the most logical solution, tell no one, be safe, and have fun.
