Hi all, I've been reading these forums for a couple months now. There's a lot of good information around here and I'm glad to help or get help from all of you. I have started a room from 5 clones and one seedling that was dying. They were donations since my patient can no longer maintain a room at his residence. I've been his Igor for about two years and now I'm taking over. So nervous, but its a good nervous as I am just as excited.

The plants I was given were, 3 Royal Flush, 2 Medusa, and 1 dying Kosher Kush. Despite fighting these awful temps this summer, everything is going good. One of the royal flush refuses to grow, so I will probably chuck it. I am growing in 5gal buckets using a mix of FFOF and organics 707 with hydrotin mixed in too (I am also experimenting with DWC for one royal flush. The nutes that I am using are AN Sensi grow A&B + AN's B-52 for the veg. When I switch to flower I will add AN's Big BUD and Overdrive to the mix. Oh almost forgot, since they weren't too well cared for and the kosher was on life support, I also insert cal/mag into the mix every nute feeding. They are on a drain away system, using a 3 day rotation of FEED-WATER-NOTHING.

I'll get pictures up soon. I figure 1-2 more weeks veg and then its flower time. I would mother some of the plants, but I need to get a harvest out first. So i will be taking clones soon and picking a suitable mother from each strain. The Room is 6x6 painted white with a 600 watt Digital ballast providing light, and boy i tell you its pretty bright in there. Fresh intake air during lights on. Box fans inside the room on 24/7. 9000btu AC standing unit on 24/7 set to 72 degrees. Exhaust tied to a carbon filter on 24/7.

I can't really think of anything else right now. Gonna go get some pics taken for y'all. Beware though as I only have a cell phone camera at the moment. It's good to be a part of the community and I look forward to any advice or questions you guys may have.

Definitely top those girls! you will get much better nugs. Also, I would start training them asap. The longer you wait the harder it will be.

Ok thanks for the advice i will do that today. But first, I'm not ScrOGing but i plan to lay some netting for support. So which method should i use pinch or fim? Also rosey, I'm not familiar with "training" properly. Is there a guide you can point me to? We only topped for the first time on our last grow and i am still green when it comes to these techniques.

Alright found a LST guide. Topped and started the training on the Medusa's and the RF in the dwc. The kosher i think is too tall and i don't want to hurt it, so i just fimed it.

One question. I have to do the final transplant on the last two small plants. Should i wait to start the train or are they gonna be ok?

Thanks highocaine. I wish i had pictures when i first inherited it. I think it had every deficiency possible.

I chose to fim it since I'm told it promotes vigorous undergrowth. This would be ideal i believe. Keeping it from getting taller and making it bushier. Any way that's what I'm trying for.
