Hello, I am mew to growing and this site. I am going tojump right on in. I started with 6 bag seeds germinated in paper towels. All germinated and grew well. Veged for about two months in a 2.5x1.5x6 closet. Used cns-17 grow throughout. Lights in first full month were 2' grow flourecents hung about 4" above plants. Not enough light, I know but it was all I had. In the second month of veg i got a 70 watt hps and two 30 watt cfls. I started 12/12 on sept 11 and buds began to show within the first week. As of now the largest of the buds is only about 2.5 inches in lenght and maybe 1" thich. With the light that i have should i expect a rapid sweeling of the buds in the last stage of this process? I know i could usemore light but i have been trying to do this ans spend as little money as possible on it. If anyone has a smimilar experience with a roughky similar setup please let me know what toexpect in these last few weeks. Thanks

you want bigger tighter buds ? You gotta get more light. You will still get buds , just not the big fat colas you see in pics.

Yes, two males. Removed week one of 12/12 cycle. What about adding 150 watt hps? Found one with a small enough fixture for like $80 I would have to remove the 70 watt hps that I have for space reasons but would 150 in addition to the flourecents and cfl's suffice for a decent yield? Keep in mind that I am only growing 2-2.5' plants. Apart from my lighting issue, any comments on the nutes i am using? Cal-mag and problend bloom and cns-17 bloom. Used the grow version of the same brands during veg.

Sounds like you're doing well. Maybe that 70w can be used as a veg light? The best part about veg closets is they don't have to be light-proof.
