New2indoor But great results

My first ladies grown from seed (mixed indoor variety - not bag). 6 planted, 5 sprouted, 2 males pulled. Grown under LED's (decent lights, use your own smarts when choosing) room was 2 x 4 foot enclosure wrapped in foil insulation (bubblewrap but foil on the outsides). Grow tent was made out of a Home depot plastic shelving unit, the insulating foil tape and lots of exterior quality duct tape. The 300W LED was suspended by multi-strand wire within the unit with room to raise or lower using Lego blocks. Yes, you read that correctly. Lego. A new toy every day. Anyways, had great success with this first grow, and like all new growers harvested early - However, I pulled clones off of each plant and nurtured them under CFL's 24/0 in another environment. The first harvest was grown in cold conditions and chopped early. I just got my microscope and the trichomes are far too clear - oh well. The clones, are now growing like .. well that will be my next post

OK, the first run I chopped out early, but pulled clones in the 3rd week of flowering. One from each plant. Quick clip, dip (water) then dust with rooting compound and into the jiffy peat pellet and all was well. 24 hr low intensity CFL bulb for a couple of weeks and back to veg they went. This technique is known as Monster Cropping - takes longer than LST but makes multi-branched monster plants when it works. I've heard lots of forum members stating to take heaps of clippings to ensure you can run this way - all three of mine are sporting better than 20 top colas each. Now that is not from Super Cropping alone. I will continue in my next post.

OK. Enough farting around. This is what I have done. Small area (described above) second grow being described here. Monster crop clones getting bigger in Peat-pellet (where they were parked after clipping) and extruded clay pellets (any other medium should work, I just prefer the sterility of this medium).The nice thing about monster cropping is that you do not have to top or FIM your plants.....so I have heard.. I FIM then LST for the first 2 weeks. I then HST, approaching mainline technique and tie down appropriately. I wanted to SCROG but am too lazy to put a lattice over my babies. Essentially what is resulting is a very even canopy at 12" above pot, and each of the 3 plants are showing between 26 - 36 colas. The way I look at it, if you can hold out for lots then tinker; if not then buy from the girls at the pub. I've learned to never pick early.
