newb needs help...Please!

alright i just got my mmc an im tired of paying 400 an ounce so im going to be utilizing (just for now) a 4x4x10 room to veg a few beastly mothers to clone an perhaps flour a couple. as of right now i only have a 400watt hps, my question is can the seedlings handle this much light when they first hit the surface? I have an inlet an outlet fan with AC plus an osculating fan that will be trained on the hood or ballast? so i dont think heat will be a problem? also could i take a clone from the clinic that has been rooted in a coco plug an put that directly under a 400hps an start veg cycle? let me know what you guys think im open to any an all answers hopefully i have a response before i get back after 420 happy days everyone

yup u can use a 400w hps thru the whole grow but is not recommended........using hps in veg is gonna give u lots of node space.............

It will work fine. Have the light a good distance from the seedlings and then as it grows ya can lower the light. For get about mothers and clones. Grow a few plants first and flower it and harvest before ya get carried away.
