newb needs some help with orgo

Long story short I was using flora nova grow and bloom blah blah and I had many problems. I changed to earth juice line up. I have 10 bags ffof. My question is the more I read I need to let the soil cook to let micro macros etc evolve. What types of things should I add to soil to help move things along to get a good living soil should I mix or make nutes up shouldni only use distilled water etc.... added I see everyone adding cups of this and that I will get to that stage one day but whats the best way to make my soil thrive for it to become filled with microbial life. I would suggest mixing in some compost as well as some good store bought potting soil. Some manure or worm castings would probably do the trick.

I have fox farm 10 bags of it. I wont use it all and I have a buddy giving me some compost. I no I meed ewc mychoriza(however its spelt) can I bubble up some tea and and pour it onto the soil to make a bigger microbial life or no teas etc.
