Newb question about transplanting sprouts

I have close to 30 sprouts, some are about 4 inches tall, but i have some dam bugs in the soil. little white bugs. i found out what they are(cant remember the name) . so im either going to throw away everything and get some fresh soil and start over, or what i want to do is take the sprouts and clean them very well and plant them in new soil.

Can i take a baby sprout and clean it and put it fresh new soil? Will this be too much of a risk of bring bugs to the new soil?

I doubt that would work unless you clean the root system so much that it has no dirt on it, but them you kill all your microscopic root hairs. I would go and ditch em outside somewhere and hope for the best while starting a new grow inside.

ya thats what i ment, clean it totally where theres no soil. i mean they are babies i figured as long as i get them super clean with no bugs, surely thwey would be able to bounce back since there so small. but then again i dont kno anything about micro root hairs. I guess ill just start over, no biggie, just losing 1 week of grow but at least its the first week lol.
