Newb question

Question about gtiw room set up. The room is 10x10 with 8ft ceilings. I have a 4x6 sheet of plywood down with 4ft walls closing it in. What kind of fan and filter would I need to vent this room properly? Don't know and I really don't want to have to do this more than once. Thanks for any help!

well, it goes off total volume. For the room, total volume of 800 cu ft; for the plywood chamber about 100 cu ft. You will want to cycle the air at least once every 3 minutes, so to be safe you will need about a 400 CFM fan and filter for the room, or no less than a 100 cfm fan and filter for the plywood chamber. Since you have less space in the smaller area, it needs to be vented more.

Just one fan and filter? Do u think it would be ok to mount the fan in the attic?

Yeah, it wouldnt be a problem to mount it in the attic. You don't have to use just one fan; but if you only use one, make sure it is at least the CFMs I suggested above.
