I have four sprouts. They seem to be doing well. However, they were giving to me. I have no idea what stran they are. I need soil, light, and a box.. Any idea's

welcome to the forums!
For lights, I reccomend a 250watt HPS (High Pressure Sodium) for your first grow. HTGSupply has great prices on lights and other growing accssories. I got my 250w HPS for $99. They have a website and an ebay store. If you are strapped for cash you can also use CFL bulbs from wal-mart or lowes.
For soil, I reccomend FoxFarm OceanForest soil. Cheap and 100% organic, you can find it at most hydro stores and online.
You can use just about anything for a grow box, as long as its clean, and no light escapes out of it.

Thanks for the reply. I have an box set up in mind. Loft Insulation 400mm x 5m,
Stand for laundry bag& bag, with aB&Q - Ceiling shade and fitting. There about 1 1/2 weeks old. I'm going to have to feed them soon. What should I use? Any suggestions

Well I'm biast, if you ask me I'll always say go organic. I'm not a big fan of chemicals but some people have great results with them.
I reccomend using Age Old Grow/Bloom liquid plant food if you are growing in soil.

no nutes for the first 3 weeks.
and if you have a b&q or homebase near you get some regular scotts top soil(nute free) as it has a neutral ph level(7.0).
mix it with perlite(60% soil 40% perlite).
for feeding start with miracle grow powder(works exellent) that you get at any garden store/b&q or homebase and start feeding them 1/4 strength after about 3 weeks and slowly build up the strength as the weeks go by but never reach full strength with miracle grow as its high in n.p.k.
for flowering nutes i go organic with bio-bizz.

Thanks, What would be the best sized pots to put them in?

i use the pot up method.
i start with 4" pots for vegging and then transplant into 10" pots before flowering and i stick with that.when the rootball is well established in your 4" pots and the seedlings are about 4" tall with a few sets of leaves then transplant in to your final pots.
there is a rule of thumb quoting "you should allow 1 gallon of soil per foot of plant".
but you can grow big plants in small pots but i prefer to allow plenty room for root growth.
more soil = more root growth = healthier bigger plants.
a 10" pot is good for a 3-5 foot plant height.

Just an inquiry... Their about 3weeks old. I've noticed a
little yellow discoloration on the lower leaves.
And i want to increase the growing speed.. any suggestions?

Nature will take it's course. If try to increase the growth with chems, you will kill them. Start with molasses and fish emulsion, 1/2 tbsp Mol. and 1/2 ts[ fish per gallon to start. After a few weeks move up to the full dose of 1 and 1.

The fish will give nutes and the molasses will increase your growth naturally.

I recently came across a group of plants and they look like they have an Mg deficiency. Also its a group of plants. None of them has flowered yet, but if they flower the males could ruin the crop right?Should I separate them? I need help nursing them back to health.. any suggestions?
