newbee..

Ok, so I have two plants growing right now. One is a Big Bud strain (not sure the sex yet) and the other is a Top 69 (feminized) The B.B. is about 30 days old now, roughly 10'' tall. It has lots of compact leave development but no sign of bud growth.
Also on the B.B. the lower larger leaves are dying, I know that naturally, plants will kill off lower limbs to grow better at the tops, even so, i transplanted it into a larger pot, and added more nutritions. They still are turning a faint yellow though, and when the lights are on for a while, the leaves near the bottom droop down, while the leaves at the top grow towards the light and when theyre off for a while, the bottom leaves spruce up while the tops droop. Whats that all about? As for my T69, it looks very healthy, but its almost a month old and shows no signs of buds yet either. I see pictures of others grows with the same plant showing signs of budding at the 35day mark but not mine..
I have my plants under two sets of lights, 2x 100watt equivalent CFLs (soft) and 2x 120watt CFLs (warm) with reflective material surrounding the entire area, its very bright no shortage of light or lumens. Ill be getting a 150watt HPS this week as well. Am i just impatient or should i be doing something different?
Please help a rookie out guys.

really?
when should i do that?
i know it jump starts the flowering process, so is that why?
i know my t69 is an autoflowering strain so does that need the same light cycle too and how old should they be til they start that cycle?
(sorry dude.. ima newbie)

auto flowering strains dont need a 12/12 light cycle they just flower when they are mature..

and
for the regular strains they need to be 12/12 all the way thru til harvest. it simulate the onset of winter and forces the plant to flower because it thinks its about to die.

The information you are giving isn't detailed enough to say exactly what is taking place. However, if you added additional nutes to your plants when not needed, the drooping of the lower leaves could be from nute burn. The leaves reaching upwards is what they do, but you may also have too much distance between your lights and plants. You will start to see significant pistil/bud formation after 30days of flowering. You haven't reached day 1 yet as from what I've read. Also, the lower leaves dying off is somewhat normal, but also may be due to the fact of them not receiving proper lighting. When the lights are off, drooping is what the plant does, sleep... The lower leaves may not show such distinctive drooping because they are situated lower.

I have no experience with AF Plants but as RTR said they flower when they mature. I also have no experience with soil, I've been strictly hydro but the info I've given is generally universal to the given circumstances you have encountered. I would venture over to some soil grow threads and most of all start over with your research of how to grow. I for one would not have started with good genetics, but used some bag seeds to experience with first. Understanding the photoperiod is paramount to any grow imo.

its not nute burn, when i started adding a tad more nutes, the plant was looking better, the yellow cleared up and it looks good.
if the 2x 100w cfl & 2x 120w cfl arent enough light, im getting a 150w hps soon. and the cfls are about 3'' away from the plant.
im gonna switch up its light cycle and see how it goes, just another Q
how long should it remain in the veg state before the flowering stage begins
