Day 1
On the 1st of January, my wife and I found a seed in our weed. We assume it must be a girl because it came in some good ass weed. We named her Newbia and started the germination process. We wrapped her in a wet paper towel.
Then wrapped that in aluminum foil and kept it in a warm dark area of the house for two days.
Day 3
She had cracked her shell and was more than ready to plant by day 2, but we still had to get the cab ready. So we acquired some small peat pods from Lowes from one of those grow kits. One was too small by itself so we took two, ripped the bottom off one, and stacked them on each other. We then soaked them in water and planted the seedling into the stacked peat pods. After that we put her on our dresser till the cab was fixed.
Day 7
We set up her home. We started with just a regular wooden cabinet with no selves inside that was here in our home when we moved in. Its a 30"x18"x12" wooden cab. We cut a rectangle in the middle of the top of the cab for the Blackstar 240 LED lights to shine through down to Newbia. The lights set perfectly on the top of the cab.

We then took weather stripping and put it along the outside of the rectangular on top and also along the inside of the door for a more air tight seem along the edges.
We realized that the wooden door part of the cab is a little warped and we need to install a latch that would hold the door firmly closed. Because at the moment some light does come out along two edges of the door.
Then we put her pod in a little tray made out of aluminum foil under the light.
