Newbie 8 days in - 2 questions + progress and setup pics

Hey.. total noob here eight days in. I've been using the "Buds For Less" book with a couple variations: instead of the fixture I'm using clamp lights and a pully system. Also, although right now I'm using 6500k 42W CFL's, I just received 3 2700k 42W CFL's that I'm planning on using for flowering (assuming I've got fems).


1- Should I remove the rockwool once I start the veg stage? If yes, what is the best (see safest) way to do that.

2 - Based on the pics, how's it looking?

What you have is fine.
No need to remove the cubes, they'll grow
fine just the way they are.

Man ive been in this for awhile now, new to the site tho, the rock wool will just stay there for the remainder of the plants life. But those lights gotta go. Go get a 2 or 4 bulb T5 fixture. This will help with the heat and the height of the plant will remain shorter because you can keep the light it's self much closer to the plants. Hope this helped! FYI, your plant looks good
