Dont be fooled by the pix weve already discussed that pic angles truly didnt bring out the true nature of the original meaning of the thread..

Highest yielding dried bud grown by hps wieghed in at 22 grams dry......
The other 6 grams for cfls wooooo there are too many people that dont understand but i will fight this fight alone if i have to.
Look if ur growing with cfls and having good results than go with that i did for a long time..
If u want better results then get one of these cheap hps lamps...

thats def a bulb in that pic but i know its not a 42 watt hps if it is i will edit all these posts to correct myself . i think it might be a 70 or 100 watt but not 42.

I promise u that they are selling these 42 watt hps lamps right now at home depot for 22 bux in the home security isle i dont need to lie...I have a couple of the 70 watters as well if u need me to post true pix from the grow room of those too..Man this thread was not intended to Downgrade or begin an arguement over what the best lighting is...I grew with cfls for almost 6 years until i read about these fixtures in widow makers thread stickied at the tops of this forum bro...

42 watt high pressure sodium bulbs dont exsist google it. yours are bigger thats better i dont know why your mad im just saying that they dont sell 42 watt hps anywhere on the web so where will you get bulbs????

No i think u will be fine if u have a small fan in the cab blowing on it....Im sure u already have some type of vent or scrub system in place for fresh air...
These things burn nice and cool man i promise im not here to stear people the wrong way just help out..

Ok wink i just called my boy and he still has the boxes his fixtures came in.Hes shooting me a pic of the box the 42 watt hps fixture came in. I promise i will take a close up picture of the bulb so u can clearly read its a 42 watt hps lamp for urself as soon as the lights come on and i can interrupt my plants...
Ive already done it once not going to go in again tonight..

# like i said dude i admire your grow and give you mad props i just know commercial lighting im a contractor. i guess they made up a new size of hps since i last went to the supply house , i pick up ballasts and caps all the time. my main reason for not believing is just a trust issue i have with the internet , the other reason is because i cant find one anywhere . if my depot was still open i would have already went and got some haha so ,like i said just shoot me the pics or the company and model or something and no harm no foul .
ps never trust anything that isnt tangeble it just doesnt make sense thats how you get burnt like i have before.

No problem bro honestly no harm meant... I can remember helping my pops out in field doing electrical work and before he became an engineer.... This stuff is all very complex... Yea Its made by lithonia lighting bro... But ive also checked there site and cant remember finding it there either but didnt try so hard..
It does exhist brothat and has done me alot of good in my flower room..
I think i may have taken pix of the box it came in and posted them in this thread actually or maybe it was a different one haha

I suspect this is the case here. I have never heard of 42 watt hps bulbs, ever. I've seen 35, 50, 70 and 100, but never 42. The only time i've seen 42 watt lighting is with flourescents.i just think you read the bx wrong

Ill have pix soon...But its not the point... The point is they reside at home depot in the home security isle and they are very easy to put together to supplement flower rooms with cfls.. And they are only 22 bux i swear..
