Newbie CFL grow - criticism welcome

Welcome to my first closet grow using CFLs. I am using Cannacopia Lemon Grass Thai x Deep Chunk.

DAY 1

After germinating two seeds over the weekend it is time to put them into soil.

DAY 3

both have sprouted, although one is only barely above the soil and I couldn't get a good picture of it

DAY 7

so i figure i'll stay on a one update a week schedule for a bit, here is how they are looking after a week, a little smaller than i had hoped but they seem to be speeding up the last few days. The one on the left was so small when it sprouted that I didn't think it would make it but it seems to be doing alright now.

looking good man, you hav the cfl's nice and close which is good because alot of people have them very far away for some reason. Perhaps you should look into getting say 1 more seed as even if the seeds are feminised, they could turn out to be male or hermie, i always have a margin of error with plants as some will inevitably get pests or fungus, turn out to be male or just be small sickly plants, its good to hav a back-up option.

The main reason I didn't was because of space, as is it would be pretty cramped if they both turn out to be female, I'm hoping to have them go to 20-24" before flower.

Day 15

Well exams are done so I should be updating this more regularly from here on out. The plants continue to grow at a tremendous pace but they both look a little wonkier than I would have expected. One of them only grew one leaf for the second node instead of the usual two, and the other went from a set of one fingered leaves to a set of five finger leaves without a pair of three fingered leaves.

I feel very stupid for asking this but I can't seem to get the new file uploader to work to post any new pictures
