Newbie closet set up

im not lookin to do anything big but i want to set my closet 4 two plants witch are jus babys now but a couple things.
A. Wat is a good small light.
B. When do i transfer and to what size pot.
Anything else like soil suggestions or anything els that will help me set up 'ANYTHING.
My closet shelf dementions are: 30in wide 39in heigh 14in deep.
Closet floor to ceilen dementions: 18in wide 6ft 6in heigh 17in deep.
(NOTE there two sides of my closet one side has a shelf one side dont, i can use either.)

if u got a ft light i use florscent and then u have to flower with hps man tranfer when there like 10"-1 foot tall and to like a gallon pot.... just potting soil stay away from microgrow my man if u want small light go cfl engrey saver bulbs for vegging 6500k and to flower 2700k cfl will cost u less to nuttin my man

Not trying to rain on your parade, but I wouldn't grow in that space because there just isn't enough vertical clearance. I suspect any light you throw in there will heat things up too much(even CFL's). HID lights are out of the question and the kind of ventilation system you would need for cooling would go against your desire to not do anything "big". I'm not saying you can't grow in your space, but it could be very difficult and may not produce the results you're looking for. Try and find a space with at least a good 5 feet in height.

Bro ventilation not a prob 4 me, an my closet bout 7foot. I actuly wrote that down if ya read.

Sorry, man, my mistake. I would still avoid using the small space for anything other than seedlings or early veg, maybe using a 2ft fluoro light.

Yea well i have a much bigger closet outside for my washer n dryer but its not excessible right now an i dont know if will be so its all i got. Would be nice though.
