I normally add with first feeding- 2ml. per gal.- then replenish every 3-4 weeks or after res. change.Also use 60 ml. syringe with section of air tube to draw water samples(put into dixie cup) and check with ph pen and PPM pen-avoids drowning pen( which I did with first one by dropping in res> LOL)

thats a good idea about the water samples. think i will have to copy that, lol. how often do you change your rez? i was gonna do weekly

Really no need to change weekly- I usually change when I flip to 12/12 or if my Ph starts crashing ie. going from 5.8 to 4.6 overnight.
