Does anyone know if there is a wall plug fan speed controller that i can plug 4 pc fans into? Will a speed controler for a normal 4" exhaust work?

Also, I am running a 3 k and the 4k now, should that be okay? Not gonna run all 3 till it seems reasonable.

On a side note - temps are staying below ambient! Lol... not sure

9 PM and still 80 degrees here in California. Just hooked up my ultra heavy duty temp controller system!!

No need for laughter, cut straight to the tears!

Day 5: hope they all look like the gg4 soon. Napali pink stunted pretty good it seems, has not moved in a day or 2, or more.. still sending out roots though, so, I have hope for her!

17 - 7 for the lights now

My under house intake seems to be working but I think it needs a bigger fan. If that were to be the case I think I would have to remove the shelf to get more headroom

It's all about the roots!

Looking good, why you going 17-7 out of interest?

Think that most people I've seen on here are either 24-0 or 18-6.

I love sleep. If I was one of them I'd like 7.

Actually, when I set the timer I was just thinking of ambient temps.

I was not very easy on them too, so I thought they may enjoy extra rest for recovery.

As well I wanted them to come on when I got home from work and worked out. I love the company.

I just kind of randomly set the timer
What were we talking about?

I saw your grow! Looks really fantastic!

Day 5: lights just turned on. Temps 85 f humidity 50% . Soil still fairly damp from just appearance, think I will wait till at least 8 unless the moisture meter proves me wrong I suppose.

Pretty sure I'm going to grab another 4" inline fan to pull more cold air into the box. The air coming from the pc fan is cool, just need more of it!

Napali pink looks like she is making a comeback!

Gg4 keeps looking better & strawberry cheese cake also!

Sherbet still not looking to great.

Lights just came on an hour or so ago. I rearranged the pots, in case the ones on te right were drying faster due to location in the box.

They seem to be looking better still today.

Oh and I did end up going a tiny heavy on the nutes, I believe anyways that there is a tiny bit of nute burn on all but the gg4. I watered the rock wool only today. Pots still to heavy!... but they seem to be getting better

I was hoping to get them on 12/12 asap. Once the appear healthy again, would there be any reason I shouldn't flip them? Thanks!

Looking good, not sure about pure coco, I've got loads of pearlite in mine to help drainage.

Plenty of people go 12/12 from seed (see the journals on here) but I think it's advised to veg for a few weeks. Really depends how big you want your plants to get and how much space you have.

Patience is also a factor, you need to have it now, otherwise later it will be torture! :-)

If you are new to the QB's that may be overkill. Better to have the exhaust a bit faster, and less fans blowing the canopy. Too much wind and it blows the hot air from the top around before it gets sucked out. I've seen a 5 degree temp change from having too much fan.

This is really interesting, must play around with fan position later to see what happens to the temp.

Pure coco seemed to be what most people liked in auto pots on another site I check out. They have a section dedicated to auto pots there. I also like only having to have one substrate lying around.

For sure I will have to check out some of those 12/12 all the way journals!

And I am patient bit I will like to have some meds soon too! I think I will just wait till they all look nice and then flip. I have a feeling it may take the sherbet a while anyways.

Gonna start a new journal this weekend with a decent introduction and info on the environment, etc.

Light about 18" up, I should look into seeing if that is best place but it seems to be doing nice now

Since you are in a cabinet-thingy, I would also make sure you have plenty of circulation around the light up to the exhaust. You probably already thought of that, but I'm a stoner, and I don't mind people pointing out obvious stuff to me ;) Sometimes I don't see the forest for the treez

Sorry to hijack slightly dadinhales :) I've got one fan about 10" about canopy level pointing across the tent, when it's hot I put another one outside blowing cooler air in with the door slightly open.

The second fan I have is way too powerful for inside the tent even on the lowest setting pointing at the floor - annoying but seems to work outside blowing against the door.

Totally, point out the obvious to me, I'm here to learn, you never know what someone else knows.

Sounds good and seems true for me. I have actually ordered another ac infinity 4" inline fan to hook onto the intake with a silencer that I hope to have sending more cool air in down low. I do have the one pc fan running pulling cold air in but pointed to the bottom of the cabnit

Hell, I don't even know who's grow this is LOL. My reply about the cabinet was for whoever posted the light-install pics...

Man I got to get some of what you're smoking bro.

Like really, I'm on leaves
I just figure the guy posting pics is the one growing. Didn't even look at who I was replying to. I think I still got the right point to the right person - in a round-about way :)

What I'm smoking is on my page
