Newbie grower, don't know what's wrong.

Hello, this is my first time ever remotely trying to grow ANYTHING. SO I get it if I'm doing absolutely everything wrong. My main problem is my plant is harshly leaning and leaves are a tad bit brown. About an hour before I had switched from a very hard compact soil to more of a loose soil. My main guess is that's the problem, the plant was used to being rooted firmly in the hard soil and then I fucked it all up lol. My second guess Is I have a small square of aluminum foil above each plant so (I thought) that the plant doesn't burn but it probably leaned over due to trying to get light. Any advice helps

I’ve used a soil that looked like that before for clones, and it was ok.. but way too many big solids in it for me like wood, rocks.. etc
Get an organic potting mix with added perlite. Maybe even add another handful of perlite to the pot & mix before transplanting again.
Make sure there’s holes in the bottom of the containers for drainage. I’d also shelter the sides of your containers so the light doesn’t hit your root zone. Don’t over water.
 
You say soil. And you mentioned hard. Is this dirt? Actual earth that you’re trying to use? If so the outlook is not good.
 
My suggestion is next time, Solo cups, clear for your plants, then put that inside a dark one, this way it keeps your roots out of the light, you can check on them from time to time and when it's time to transplant, come out much easier than what you've got them in.

We all had to start at the beginning. Don't be too hard on yourself. It's not hard but can be unforgiving. Read, read, then read some more until you understand it upsidedown and sideways. You'll get it ; )
