a node is the spot in which there is growth coming out of the main stem. you cut below that by about an inch at a 45 degree angle and dip in your rooting hormone then place into your medium for cloning and cover with a humidity dome.

ok.... my plants are goinf into 5 weeks vegging.... i cant wait to take clones...when is the best time to take clones.... my seeds are feminized.... i got me a magnifying glass and im still not able to tell if they are females or males... one thing is for sure tho... i dont see any balls....

you can take them whenever you want. just try to take a cutting with atleast one node that will be going into the medium (rockwool, rooter, etc). a guy i follow uses a mix of molasses and water to spray his plants folage a few days before cloning and believes this gives him better results. also make sure to place the fresh cuts in a glass of water for about 30 min to ensure they suck up moisture and will root better. previous statement is before you put root hormone on them. are your nodes staggered or still parallel? should be able to see any day now some preflowers showing either male or female.

well not quite sure what u mean bu staggered or parallel... ill let u take a look for ur self...

...not sure if u could see my nnodes... last 3 pics from left to right are ... super silver lemon haze... iced grapefruit... and my ''gorda''... phat fruity....i think i should wait till my plants get a lil bigger before cloning.... im not sure i will be able to take alot of clones if i cut them right now... my plan is to atleast get 5 out of each female...next time i grow i plan on veggin for 2 to 3 weeks then flower,... i wanna have about 30 small plants at 1 time

well you have to understand that if you take clones just before you flower then you will possibly have them in the rooter for three weeks possibly less, then you will have to veg those while your plants flower which could take 2 to 3 months. therefore it wont be possible for you to veg them only for 2 to 3 weeks. i would agree to wait a bit longer to clone them but they are definetely old enough for you to top them and this will provide you with better growth to clone when you decide to. for that size area those plants could go another month possibly before you flower them.

Well its not yellow or I dont see signs of nute burns...all my ladies look lovely... I transplanted my girls into 5 gal buckets today... Im usibg coco coir/perlite/rockwool cubes.... From my 4 seeds that I was germinating only 3 sprouted so far... Ugh! I wanted to have a 100% germunation rate... 5th week of vegging... I want to do 3 more weeks on my first grow... Allowibg me to vegge my second for 3 weeks under t5s then,... Go 12/12... If everythin goes right I should have 6 kinds of bud... Cant wait

ok well my plants were tranplanted into 5 gal buckets sunday.... i also took cutting from some of my plants and 3 out of 4 seedlings sprouted... cant wait till they grow.... i hope they root pretty dam soon... here go pics....
my plants seed to be happy after the transplant.... i cant wait till i top these girls... im 5 weeks 1 day into vegging... i wanna top them but im kinda scared that the plants will stay short and not yield as much... but if i manage to top the i can have as many as 2 or 4 colas right???... plants are about 10" now i think ima top when they reach 1 ft...

you know that you basically topped the plants when you cloned them right? it does seem like something is a bit off though by the way your leaves are clawing downwards. did you make the same mix or straight coco?

looks like your previous plant pics were a bit droopy but we will see in a few days if they change. straight coco is fine in my opinion, as i use only coco as well, perlite is just used by some people for better moisture control which isnt really needed in coco. whats your PH running now? ill be surprised if you can get those to root in coco your first time, cloning is not real easy first time around and coco isnt necessary the easiest medium to root into. i may have asked but whats your nutes?

Just a and b from canna I havent applied any nutes to the clones... I rinsed my coco with water with a 5.2 ish ph....but I did spray them with rizotonic solution 35ml/gal... Oh man I really hope the cuttings grow... If all the seedlings and clones make if,.... I will flower 14 girls at once..... What results do u think ill get?

i cant say what results youll get i can just hope for the best for you. i dont have 100% clone rate probably not even 90% so im not the best at cloning but take plenty each time to get what i need. i never plan on getting every one of my clones to root especially in a timely manner, some of mine go for 3 weeks.

3 weeks sounds like too long bro... Mine take 10 days to root... I use rapid rooters and I cut the bottom out of each insert hole so that it wont grab a hold of the roots n kill em.... I also mist em 4 to 5 times a day with a rhizotonic solution... I fell off on the pics ... I will post more as soon as my internet strarts workin again.... I also pinched some stems so that they could grow stronger... I will post some pics of that as soon as they become available...
