Newbie HELP!

Hi, Iv just got a new grow tent kit ds60 complete with all fans light filter etc everything is setup fine and iv just put my seeds in to germinate, a few things im not sure about, How long before i take the seeds out and plant them , Lighting times for the first 4 weeks and what i need to do to make my plants flower, iv heard its 4 weeks 18/6 and then 4 weeks 12/12 finally do i need to add nutrients in order to get buds?

As soon as the seed cracks open and you see the little white tail sticking out, you plant them.

The light cycle I use is 1 month at 18/6 (I actually use 20/4 but 18/6 is good).
Then start the flowering cycle 12/12 and stick with it until they finish.
Flowering is not 4 weeks though. Flowering is usually around 8 weeks.
Depending on strain/phenotypes some finish faster and some can go for a very long time (16-24 weeks in flower).

One of the main reasons for damping off is handling the germ. I put mine right in the moistened mix they will spend their babyhood in.

well it will take longer than 4 weeks 12/12 thats gauranteed, more like 7-8weeks depending on strain, lighting. as for nutrients, it depends on the soil if its fertilized nutrients aren't necessary w/o fertilized soil nutrients is a must. either way you should use nutrients though it helps everything from plant size to ptency and density of the buds. the cool thing about using nutes is using the right nutrient for each stage of growth and observing the effects they have on the plant. but IMO definately use nutes.
