Newbie here need alot of advice lol, planing to grow indoors starting very small

As title says,

Hello all this is my first post, I decided today that i wanted to buy a couple of seeds and grow a couple of plants and see if im any good at it, SOOOOOOO

lol i turned a draw in my room into a greenhouse by taking apart the first 2 levels bottoms and backs so it looks like a draw but its hollow all the way threw.

its a 1ft 7 by 1ft 2 draw



Right basicly im starting from stage one,

i know fock all about growing so this is my plan.

Im going to buy 2 Short Rider seeds (because apparantly they take less than 2 months to grow ?), and they need to be female from what i have read so far.

erm lighting im not sure what i need, I got an 8W (i think its 8w) fish tank light bulb with a little box thing attached,



Your probs going to laugh at me haha but i have got no idea if thats good or not ? its fluorescent and looks like it says 8w/ww on the bulb no idea.

The other light i got it a 12v 50w office light which is super powerfull for some reason.

dono what bulb it is its like a big flat USB but gets vey hot very quickly.



yerr..... any way the next light i got is a bit over powered its a 230v 500w builders light which is halogen

but in a 1ft 7 by 1ft 2 draw i assume this will just catch fire. but here it is.



Fire hazzard with a handle if you ask me but im no expert lol.


RIGHT... well thats everything i have so i need to know everything.

1. is any of that useful ?

2. is thats draw going to be big enough to grow 2 short riders ? judging on there name im hoping it is lol.

3. What else will i need to buy.

4. How do i grow them haha.

5. how many grams or ounces will i get from each plant do you think?

If you have bothered to read all this ( i probs wouldnt so bravo inspector! hah)
could you please give me some advice or answer some of my questions or just help me in general.

i am a total noob and i am here to learn.

hey noob, we were all there once. as passafier said you need to do some reading before anyone on the board can give you real help. start with https://www.rollitup.org/newbie-central/937-how-grow-marijuana.html and then check out the faq and stickies in each section. that'll teach you all the basics of growing and then you'll have specific questions we can answer.

to get you started - you're really, really tight on space. and unfortunately none of those lights are good for growing weed.

Ah yer i will read through all of that and stuff and learn more, But that is the only space i got lol i only want to grow a couple then maybe 4 to 6 plants on my next grow, i only want them to grow to about 1 foot tall.

i will read more and go get some propper lights tomorrow, but is that space ok for a couple of plants ? and also is short rider any good ?

your problem is going to be height (don't think you gave height?). count on 6" for the pot and 6" for the lights and the rest of the height is what you have left for a plant.

never tried short rider, sorry.
