Newbie Light Questions...

Hi I'm wondering how much wattage needs to be on one plant?

Also I'm looking for a cheap light source. I have some 24" floursecent lights that are 75 watts. Would a few of these work for the duration of the plants life?

I've seen some incandescent lights, would these work?

I'm not sure what cfl are. Are those the spiral type bulbs?

I'm looking for a cheap solution just to test the waters.

Yeah, CFL's are the sprial ones... you need the ones that make a blue/white color when they're on... if you really want to make things worth while i'd sac up and get the high pressure sodium light from home depot... might cost a little more but it's worth it in the end. good luck growing and read all you can on here, we've all been newbies before
