My goal is to have a perpetual system that I can harvest every other week, using CFL's only. I am leaning towards Drbudgreengenes methods. He is not a member here, but I've read a lot of interesting things from him the last few months. He uses only CFL's for lighting and is getting 7 to 21 grams per cutting in 20 oz. bottles. He believes root bound is a state of mind. We will see. I will be aiming for 7 grams per cutting for my first go around. Believe me, if I can do it anyone can.

I am growing in soil with BMO organic nutes reccomended by Ohsogreen. All of my knowledge has come from reading forums and watching Youtube. I have never grown anything before reading a Rollitup thread a few months ago, since elementary school.

I have pretty much everything I need except a scrubber, and something to clone in. I'm sure I'll come up with more things I need down the road. I will be building the scrubber before things go into flower, using some pencil cups and a dress sock.

I am still looking for ideas on a cloning chamber though. If you have any ideas, let me know. I am looking to be under $10 at final construction, so please keep that in mind. Also it will need to fit in a 10in. x 10in. x 10in. space.

I am growing Super Lemon Haze (Green House Seeds feminized), Kali Dream (Kali Mist x Dreamweaver by MOD), Connie Chung (DNA), Flashback(Homegrown Fantasies), Sensi Star (Paradise), Killing Kush (Sannies Seeds), and some tomatoes:bigjoint:. All except the Killing Kush (still in mail) have been started. I started a Red Dragon from seed on the 1st, which has since died from watering to much. It was first newbie mistake, and probably not the last:cuss:Everything I currently have, germinated after 4-3-09. I am looking into crossing these at some point in the future, and will be keeping bonsai style mums and dads in small cups forever.

My seedlings and clones will be kept in separate 1ft x 1ft x 1ft space under 2 27watt 5000k CFL's. I will get the exact measurements on the flowering chamber once it's complete. It's close to 3ft x 1.5ft x 2.5ft as of now. This space will be divided into 2 chambers.(veg. & flower)

I will be posting plenty of pics. Please let me know what you think. I am interested in what everybody has to say, even if you think it's pointless. I am hoping people will read this in the future, and I believe every point of view is helpful. Sort of like "there is no stupid ?'s" All I ask is that you are respectful, otherwise you can hate or appreciate.:peace:

If this works, I will harvest close to 1 ounce , from 8 cuttings every 2 weeks. If I fail, I take all the blame. All of my references have already proven themselves. And my wife cannot find out:cuss:

im growing the lemon skunk from greenhouse which was used to create the haze be expecting a quick grower with her my skunk shoot up after the first two weeks and thats without any haze in it!

Yeah it's crazy how fast they grow. SLH will get a haircut soon though. Starting cloning next week.

Have you made the flower cab yet? I would love to know what the size is going to be. I am going to do something very close in size as well.Plants look good!

Unfortunately it's not done yet. It will be an old entertainment system we don't use anymore. I have to move it to another room in my house though, and without drawing attention from the wife. I will have it moved in a week or so. Clearing out some junk that is currently in the room along with entertainment system. Wife won't be suspicious if I wait. The actual chamber will be close to 3ft L x 1.5ft W x 2.5ft H I'll take pictures when it's done though. You can count on it. Thanks for checking in, are you going to stay awhile?

That is about the size I want to build! I am going to do it about 3ft tall by 3ft wide and 2.5ft deep. I am new to the screen but I hope this is going to be a good setup. I can't wait to see the pics!

Yup, she is not a smoker. Good girls like bad guys. Well I'm not bad, just never been a fan of rules. All she cares about is that it's illegal. Doesn't want me to get a card either. Many "DISCUSSIONS" on the subject. If she finds out I'll move it to another room or change boxes. Oh yeah and beg for forgiveness. It will be under lock and key when I find the keys though. Im not too worried about it.

In my opinion your going to need more soil then what a 20oz bottle can provide. If you want a cheap way to recycle your plastic containers, use at least 2 liter bottles. Or better yet, buy some distilled water from the store, use that to water your plants since it has perfect pH, and then when your done cut them down and use them as pots.

Soil is cheap, and 2 liter sodas are pretty cheap (and tasty!) there is no practical need to skimp on root growth. The more roots, the more nutes the plant can absorb...

If you want a cheap disposable humidity chamber for clones, all you need is a spray bottle, some clear saran wrap, any old box, and some tape or staples.

Just cover the top with the saran wrap, and mist twice a day. Also, every time you mist, give them a good blow from your breath. Your breath will replace the air with fresh Co2 your body expels. Keep them under a single CFL. After about two weeks, the box will begin to grow mold on the inside, but by then your clones will have roots so you won't need it anymore. You can cover the inside of the box with saran wrap if you want to delay the mold process.

If your cloning in soil, make sure the soil is wet. Expect the bottom set of leaves to turn yellow and die, what clone is doing is sacrificing nutrients from those leaves to grow roots, and keeping the main top leaves healthy.

I used that exact method for my clones, had 100% success rate.

I think it's worth your while to get your wife evolved if possible. Get her to smoke a doobie, if you can get her to see the positives, maybe she wont freak. Believe me, she'll use "ripping those plants up" as a bargaining chip when you two have fights, so I would be proactive. Eventually they're going to stink up the place, your wife will find out one way or another.

Thanks for checkin my grow out. They are grown the 20 oz. to restrict height limitations. Drbud has over 30 years of experience, and has been growing this way for at least the last few years. He has a doctorates degree in horticulture. If it works for me, I believe it is probably the most productive micro method out there.

As far as the wife goes, I have tried. Believe me, I have had many arguments just to to try and get her to watch informational videos. Right now it's just not gunna happen. She thinks it's as bad as crack or heroine. I just really believe she is afraid of the consequences involved. I am going to try and make some brownies with some of my butter I plan on having. She wont smoke a salmon let alone some cannabis. I have never seen her this stubburn about anything else. The room they will be flowering in is outta the way. She hasn't been in there for the last 3 yrs, not once. Once I find the key, I should be ok for sure. If she destroys the grow, fine. She won't leave me over it. Risking some kiss-ass for sure though. :peace:

I'm having some germination problems...How many days from: A - dry seeds get water => B - leaves sprouted above the surface
