Newbie needing help!

Well guys I'm 6 weeks into my grow and thought I was doing ok but a problem has arisen that I am unable to find any info on.my plant have now reached a height that the top can no longer hold it's own weight t he stem is pretty thin so droops over.im thinking if I don't do something soon it will snap and damage the whole plant.can I still top it at this stage(1 or 2 weeks to flower)or should I brace it in some way?any help will b greatly appreciated.(see pics)

Ive seen this everywhere too.

Careful you might damage the roots if u stick it in ur soil pot. I'm sure topping at this time will only make you lose yield as well, so avoid it if possible.

Yea thx guys.got some bamboo sticks today gonna build a system that reaches the top but does not go into the soil I'm sure I'm capable of that.i was thinking of putting a sort of Scrog net over them for flowering seeing as they r struggling with top weight as it is do u think this is feasible.

Fix th bamboo to the outside of you pot with ducting tape ..leave the top bend towards the stick and fix top to stick with wire tye .it will begin to grow up to the light again it will be fine ...you really need to be putting the net in before you flower and leave all the branches reach the screen ..hope this helps..scarecrow77

Yea I does help mate.my minds made up now nets going up and sticks and wire r being preps as we speak again thx for taking ur time to help at a problematic time for me.keep u posted on how I get on.

Only a400hps got 4 cheese and a sleestack/skunk under it.I no I'm pushing it 5 under one light was gonna c wot happened mabay get rid of one but they all took off so I let them run the course.2of the cheese r runts compaired to the other 3 got them siting on risers hoping they would catch up but seem to prefer being bushy rather than tall.keep the lights only ten inch from the tall ones but 16inch from the smaller like I said was hoping they would catch up.have a look

There nice healthy plants mate ...those 2plants are sucking all the light from the others there quite a bit taller ....the best way out of it is leave those 2 tops fall as far as they can to the rest of of the plants and tye it off like I explained earlier .even if you have to rise the smaller ones up to meet were you have the tops tyed off and leave everything get the light together..bye tying off the tops your putting all the emery into the lower branches ...hope dat made sence...scarecrow77

You can grow as many plants as you want in that space with a 400 what ...you could put 12 one gallon if you wanted ..just to clear things up your in flower right...scarecrow77

Now if I was in your shoes I would 100%top them they will be far to big altoghter for that space...i would top them below the height of the smaller plants because there will be a massive strech when you flip them.they will still out grow the smaller ones when you flip but you will be able to control them ....hope this helps..scarecrow77...ask away if your not sure what im saying...

You can use the cut for clones ...you will have a far better yeild topping them aswell .you will have a few dominant tops instead of one..

Hey greenhouse ..see that I thought your plants were in flower I took know notice that your vegging with a hps that's why your plants got so high and weak ...metal halide for vegging is lot more blue spectrum and keeps tight internodes ..thus keeping them low and bushy ...you use the m/h for the first 2-3weeks of 12/12till the strech is over and then change to hps ...hope this helps..scarecrow77

Just got back in mate.yea I've only got the hps to work with.like u say caused them to stretch.wot should I do should I defo top them and how long will I wait until I can go to flower after I do.thanks for ur help again mate.
