Newbie Outdoor Needs Advice

Hi im new to growing and would like some advice on my outdoor grow before i begin. I will try to provide you with as many details as i can. I will have my grow in an inaccessible meadow surrounded by some trees that provide some cover but let light in and surrounded by swamp and briars. i plan on cloning Afghan to start out and cloning atleast fifteen plants. i will plant them in 5 gallon pales with potting soil and horse manure. they will be surrounded by a fishing line fence. I live in Maryland to give an idea of the climate. Can you give me advice on...
Pest control?
Strain choice? good or bad?
Possible yield?
and i may consider guerrilla growing in cornfields. has anybody had any experience with that?:leaf::leaf::leaf::leaf::leaf::leaf:

What is the flowering time on your afghan?
Look into hot pepper wax its all natural, hose the plant down in veg and again maybe once during flower will keep your bug problems to a minimum. ill keep an eye on this thread if ya have anymore questions

I love afghan myself. That should be an alright spot an 6-8 weeks is plenty time for it to finish, as for the buckets thats not a big enough area for the roots you won't yeild much maybe an ounce or two.
Maybe you should learn a little more to growing before you just jump in this with all you got? There is a great possibility you will be disappointed in the results. Id start with one or two plants.
Im not saying dont give it a go but i would like to point out you had to crawl before you could walk. Just speaking from experience...

i havnt bought it yet but a hydroponics store within 5 minutes of my house has gel and powder. which would you recommend?

I always dig my holes out side at least two feet wide by three feet deep. Never tried buckets outdoors though like to let my roots just keep going ! Planning to use some of my " recycle" indoor grow dirt in a couple holes add some manure, bone meal , ash, and what not . But IMO always dig holes outdoors if feasible!

i think the buckets are counter-productive anyway if they are gonna limit root growth and yield and cost money. iv got horse manure and plenty of fertilizer to sweeten the soil that i can use. little diggin never hurt anyone lol

i love the ghanny. Prime outdoors, i had a buddy who would buy the ten gallon Sterilite bins, cut the bottoms out and dig them about a few inches in to the ground then fill with soil and let the girls do the work, dosen't bind the root system but provides the right nutes and ph for the ladies to get established. 5 gallons much to small unless you are planning to start in june-julyish

Yeah holes are the way to go. Why do that to a bucket if your just going to plant it anyway? Never understood why..

to establish a healthy root system before they move into a less conducive soil for growth. also its an extra barrier for pests

definitely skip the buckets, go with holes. the bigger the better

i dug holes 4 feet wide by 3 feet deep and got 10 foot plants that yielded a pound each
