NEWBIE PROBLEMS: Leafs with holes, yellow patches and curling

So this is my first time growing. I planted my baby in its pot a few months back and left outside in the heat until it got colder. Since it's been inside I've noticed it's decreasing in growth and some of the leafs are showing worrying signs, towards the bottom the leaves have completely turned yellow and are curled downward with tiny little holes in. The holes have also speed up the plant onto one of the bigger leaves. Is this going to end up killing the plant or can it be rectified? Thanks in advance

Hi how are you today? it looks like something was eating the leaves, maybe bugys. I would snip the damaged leaves off and get a cfl light or floresent light on it the windows is not giving enough lighting for it to gather enough energy.
a good bloom feeding with low N would be good, your tops look good and you have undamaged leaves and buds so just add a light and take it to the end!

Hello bongmom, it looks like someone's (a pest)eating your plant, it takes a lot of light to grow this plant well, it looks like you are in early flower stages just past the stretch where you would notice rapid growth and now it will look slower naturally as it builds flower. I am guessing this is your first time?

However unrelated to its condition, I'm sure those roots could use some air. For future reference, mix some perlite with your soil, it adds aeration. The roots need oxygen. That's why most soil growers have switched to fabric pots which allow the roots to respirate easier. In nature the soil is aerated by the thousands of arthropods and earthworms that live in the rizosphere, digging around and mixing the soil with air.

Thankyou for this advice, so helpful! I woke up and saw a few bugs flying around the plant this morning so I think that was the source! Any suggestions on where to purchase suitable lights? As I've been searching for a while but can't seem to find any

Can you give me a general region your at, like US or Elsewhere and what size would you be after, helps to narrow down some choices for you.

I like to ask people what their goal is. do you want to grow a plant or 2 as a hobby or do you want to sustain yourself so you don't have to buy it or are you going to provide it for a few people?

A small personal grow room can easily keep you from having to pay out high pricess at dispensers or keep you from having to deal with unsavory people who sell it on the street.
I run a 2.5x2.5x8 personal grow with a 400 watt hps light. it produces more than enough for my wife and I to smoke a gram per day every 2 months or every few months. the extra cost of running fans and lights are miniscule compared to the cost and possible danger of having to buy it.
