Newbie question about bud growth.

So do buds grow out of flowersites? Up stems? down stems? Like how do you see these branch looking colas? when you bud do they buds grow up even more?
.... I don't want my buds to hit my light which is now a 400hps






bending it down so much as it is.... I wish I had anticipated this... our plant like x4 in size during first 3 weeks... 12/12 but it's like it wouldn't listen... don't see as pronounced of flowers yet...

ok, buds will grow at every internode, and from the top of the plant, to somwhere close to the bottom. If your plants is a little stretchy, then you will have gaps between the budsites. 3 weeks, you should start seeing the white hairs coming out, and the internodes should be getting a little crowded with growth. after another week or two, you should be seeing some massive flowering going on, as long as your giving it a bloom formula, and sticking to your 12/12 schedule. It takes between 5 weeks and 9 weeks to complete your flowering cycle. you can also trim the lower leaves off to concentrate in the newer growth, and trim the plant where you want the buds to form. this will concentrate all growth to these areas, increasing bud size and potency.

Just let em GROW. It's a weed and you plant looks to be female What's your flowering schedule?

it's 12/12 but i've been 12/12 since jan 5th... those pics are from feb 10th i think... crazy...

i would agree with hank the most...its not called weed for anything. But yeah i dont really know, but the best advice i could give you proabably already know, just treat em right, lots of light, plenty of air and everything should woork out pretty good. peace

A lot of times the lower nodes tend to develop last. Depends how you trimmed or topped your plant maybe. Its a long waiting game watchin each node develop into hopefully female...

So will she get bigger?

Yes as long as its alive.You will need to raise the main light or drop the plants or move to a new area.You don't want heat burn :S

Is there a way i can just put the whole pot it's in on it's side heh... gotta find a way to water sideways.... maybe something weird I can do...up isn't an option anymore...
